socio-ecological transitions and accumulation model

We encourage critical analysis and reflection on the mining-energy model extractive, and on agribusiness as an organizer of the agri-food system. We seek to generate tools to face territorial dispossession and livelihoods, corporate concentration and economic dependent primarization.

We weave networks between territorial, trade unions and academic actors to promote actions towards energy sovereignty, to confront energy extraction and consumption (based on minerals, hydrocarbons or agricultural commodities), which is focused on transnational actors and their socio-ecological impacts, at local and global levels.

We support the defense of food sovereignty as a political horizon, with emphasis on the safeguarding of seeds and genetic heritage, the construction of productive and technological alternatives that move towards the massification of agroecology and the strengthening of the organization and agency of the peasantry and the rural workers.
